Players and fans were preparing for some big matches on Friday, and it sounds like everyone had a good weekend of football! There were a lot of goals scored and a few teams earned promotions.

In the Grantham and District Sunday League, Ancaster Rams beat Ropsley with a score of 9-0. Congratulations on the shut out Ancaster!

It was a draw between AFC Spelthorne Sports Reserves and Pyrford Reserves with a 3-3 final score. Belated congratulations to Spelthorne Sports who won the league last weekend!

Didcot Casuals U14 came away with a 3-0 victory over Bloxham FC U14 in the Oxford Mail Girls Football League.

Kingstown Athletic won 6-2 over the Southella Rangers in the Hull Sunday Football League. Way to go!

Shout out to Mitoo fan Steven Shaw who got an assist in Kelvedon Social’s 9-1 win over Great Bently ‘A’.

Roving Reporters got another win this weekend, beating Finchley United ‘B’ 7-1. Shout out to Reporters player Christopher Yido Hoey who scored five of the seven goals! Awesome!!

Ridgewood FC got a promotion to division 10 of the Gray Hooper Holt LLP Mid Sussex Football League with a 2-0 win over Pease Pottage Village IV. Awesome job!

In an away game, Stoke Rovers won 3-1 against FC Sun Sports.

It was a close game between Joydens Wood and Borough Athletic, but Joydens pulled off the win with a score of 6-5.

Wansdyke Sports FC beat Bear Flat 3-0, adding another win to their record on top of the impressive 11-2 win from last weekend. Wansdyke also moved back to the top of their division. Great job!

White Ensign won their match against Canning Town 6-1. Ensign is working hard to make the top four and get into the champions league. Keep on fighting White Ensign!

Edmonton Rangers U11 Jaguars beat Omonia U11 White 9-3 and earned a promotion for next season. Way to go!

In the Spring Trophy, Olympiacos U10 Red beat Hadley Wood and Wingate U10 Eagles 3-0 and are currently sitting at the top of the Watford Friendly League U10.

Goals were flying for Ise Lodge Eagles U10, who scored nine against Burton P.W. Vipers U10.

We have not heard from the Royal Charter in a while, but it looks like they are still going strong. They got a 6-2 win over the Rosmead Rhinos this weekend and have yet to lose a game in the league. Good luck in your semi final fixture in March Royal Charter!

Mablethorpe Athletic Colts made an impressive comeback to tie their game against the Waltham Tea Gardens Reserves. Mablethorpe was down 5-1 but rallied four goals to make the final score 5-5.

Central Ward got a 2-0 win over ADF Machico in the George Arnold Cup quarter finals.

In another close match, Corby Kingswood White U13 came from behind to beat their rivals Corby Kingswood Black U13 with a score of 2-1. White has two wins from the last three games and will be playing in a cup semi final in a few weeks. Good luck!

The Carhampton Rovers, who have accumulated 10 losses this season, pulled off a big surprise win over the Pink Panthers with a 9-1 score. Keep those goals coming Rovers!

Minehead U10 Milan scored a total of 13 goals over the weekend in two matches. They beat the Rushton U10 Rockets and Rovers with scores of 10-0 and 3-0.

Tone Youth Wasps U14 got another win this weekend against Bridgwater VPR U14 6-2. Player Adam Lilly, who scored five goals last weekend for the Wasps got another two this weekend. Perhaps his mum should nominate him for Mitoo’s player of the month!
